Business Data Analyst

A Fortune 100 technology-driven financial software company is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join its dynamic team. This hybrid position based in Mountain View, CA (2–3 days onsite per week) supports critical business functions by turning complex data into actionable insights that help drive strategic decisions across product, marketing, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with technical expertise in data analysis and visualization, capable of working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth business analysis using statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data mining

Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders

Collaborate directly with internal clients to identify analytical goals and requirements

Generate ad hoc reports and dashboards to support decision-making

Support implementation or enhancement of systems to capture business operation data

Provide guidance to junior analysts as needed

Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases

Experience using BI tools such as Tableau

Ability to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
