Cyber Security Director

CGS is looking for a Cyber Security Director to join our Global Cyber Security team.

You will play a leading role, reporting directly into the Head of Information Security, developing, implementing, enhancing, and overseeing information security operations and resiliency within CGS global ecosystem while enabling the business in a service-oriented Technology divisions. This role will translate technology and business risk requirements into processes and controls while developing metrics for measuring performance and risk reduction. It will interface and work closely with our corporate and global business leaders across all regions and divisions of CGS. This is a hands-on role; candidate must have extensive knowledge of Azure, GCP and AWS security architecture and be able to work closely with the IT leaders in ensuring the availability, confidentiality and integrity of all workloads.

What impact you can create at CGS:

Through a deep understanding of the CGS ecosystem and technology stack including on-prem, cloud, and hybrid platforms as well as third parties, you will oversee company security event monitoring and incident response solutions and processes.

Working across tooling and with our global security and infrastructure partners, you will oversee our vulnerability management program breaking down complex systems ensuring appropriate actioning, tracking, and ownership to minimize our risk exposure.

In coordination with IT leadership, Legal, and business heads, you will drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure tech resiliency.

As a critical thinker and a doer, you will not just identify security operations and resiliency program gaps but assist in implement them, and influence adoption through dynamic steering.

You will drive evolution by risk taking as a cyber leader, acting expeditiously in making decisions and recommendations, understanding the factors associated with risk-based decision-making in complex, fast moving ecosystem.

What You Will Bring To The Team...

At least 10 years hands-on information security experience with increasing levels of responsibility and oversight as a security-operations professional including at least 5 years of people management.

Experience working with best-in-class security tools across all Technology stacks.

Experience using Kali Linux as a white hat.

Experience with cloud security and cloud-native environments including Azure, GCP and AWS.

Technical Experience with Windows Systems, Linux, Mac OS, VMWare

Experience implementing and managing programs based upon industry standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2 Type ll, PCI-DSS V 4.0, CIS, NIST 800-53, CMMC V 2.0 HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA-CPRA, NYPA.

Strong presentation skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to senior leadership and the business.

Bachelors in cyber security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.

Current CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CEH, CCSP certifications
