$70/hr + Mileage Paid Same Day Long-Term Opportunity

We are a rapidly growing Managed IT Services Provider, is seeking a professional, reliable, and skilled Onsite IT Technician to represent our company at client locations in the Chicago area, with a focus on Glenview.

This is a part-time role, ideal for a technician who values flexibility but still wants to do high-quality work with a premium MSP.

What You’ll Do:

Provide hands-on desktop support and end-user assistance

Troubleshoot issues related to Windows workstations, servers, printers, and mobile devices

Handle basic networking tasks – switches, WAPs, firewalls, cabling

Work with technologies like VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory

Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional presence onsite

Travel locally in the Chicago/Glenview area (mileage reimbursed) What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of IT experience (desktop, servers, networking, etc.)

Clean-cut, professional appearance and demeanor

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and dependable – you take pride in your work

Own vehicle and willingness to travel for onsite assignments

Ability to represent SKYTEK in a positive and knowledgeable way Position Details:

Hours: ~10 hours/week (flexible schedule during business hours)

Pay: $70/hr + mileage reimbursement

Payment: Same-day via Zelle

Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
