NOW HIRING: Team Lead – Data Platform

Hybrid: Onsite 2x per month (East Coast, Newark, NJ)

Are you a serverless-savvy data wizard who thrives in the cloud and leads with impact? Our client is looking for a Team Lead to drive innovation in their AWS-based data platform.

Tech Must-Haves:

• AWS Glue ETL Pipelines, S3, Lambda

• Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)

• Python 3.x (especially for authoring Airflow DAGs)

• Strong with Relational DBs: MongoDB, SQL Server

• CICD pipelines: Jenkins & CloudFormation templates

• Serverless-first architecture mindset — non-negotiable

• 4 year Degree

You’ll Be:

• Owning the ingestion pipeline into Amazon Redshift

• Collaborating across teams

• Leading agile architecture huddles + solving complex platform challenges

• Mentoring engineers, raising standards, and elevating delivery

• Comfortable swimming through ambiguity — no floaties allowed

Soft Skills:

• Assertive. Engaging. Clear communicator.

• Collaborative yet decisive — you're not afraid to speak up.

• Managing vendors

• Big fan of Agile. Comfortable in a fast-paced delivery environment.

• Bonus points if you’ve worked with GCP or Azure — but AWS is the main playground.
