Mechanic Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled in-house Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. Scheduled work hours will be 7:00-3:30 Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to brakes, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy equipment.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.

Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role

Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Familiarity with airbags/brakes, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
