Sr Developer

must be located in Houston TX

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design solutions using modules to meet business needs

Conduct requirements gathering with business users

Configure solutions in the Merrick systems, perform unit testing, integration testing

Perform design, coding, debugging, testing and implementation tasks for the computer programs and systems

Develop and implement program documentation

Advise on changes in technologies and the associated impacts to processes

Critical problem-solving skills - able to troubleshoot and provide quality solutions to business users problems

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work closely with the business

Be able to cope with multi-tasking assignments

Excellent analytical and communication skills

Team Player, responsive, organized

Good planning and organizational skills

Provide customer support

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Transact SQL

SQL Server/Oracle Functions and Stored Procedures

SSRS

PowerShell

Python

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree, or a high school diploma/GED

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum 10 - 15 years of operations and development experience
