C.J. Hughes Construction Co., Inc. is currently seeking experienced Gas Pipeline Construction Foremen to lead residential gas pipeline crews. In this role, youll be expected to perform and supervise all aspects of pipeline construction, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. Crews typically consist of 38 members.

This is a physically demanding position involving outdoor work in all weather conditions, with frequent travel, overnight stays, and overtime required.Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations on job sites, managing crew members and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Operate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, compactors, graders, and telehandlers.

Perform hands-on tasks including fusing, pipeline installation, excavation, and restoration.

Read and interpret blueprints, grades, and utility markings.

Maintain compliance with all required certifications, operator qualifications, and testing.

Communicate with inspectors, project managers, and team members.

Ensure high-quality work and timely project completion.Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in gas pipeline construction as an operator or foreman.

Fusing experience preferred.

Proficient in heavy equipment operation and underground utility construction practices.

Ability to lead and work alongside crews effectively.

Working knowledge of pipeline and earthmoving techniques, grades, and blueprints.

Valid drivers license with acceptable MVR.

Must pass all pre-employment screenings (drug test, background check) and maintain certifications.

Must be willing to travel and work overtime, including overnight stays.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must be at least 18 years old.Benefits:
