Salary: Starting at $120K

SHARPE, a premium dealership that focuses on four popular brands; BMW, MINI, Jaguar and Land Rover has an immediate opening for a dynamic team member to play a key role within our SHARPE Team! We are lookingfor a full-time Controller.

Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement regarding matter of importance

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in accounting or business-related field preferred.

Three years dealership experience is required.

Reynolds and Reynolds DMS experience a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage all day-to-day activities, schedule, train, and mentor the administrative office staff

Ensure that all administrative staff use proper accounting procedures and maintain accurate records. Analyze and supervise the preparation of all information for the CPA to minimize audit or review costs.

Review dealership payables, receivables, inventories and accounting schedules to ensure accurate accounting, payment of vendor bills and receipt of customer payments.

Maintain and post journal entries, including funding notices.

Manage floor plan audit and reconciliation.

Ensure banking controls are in place and being followed. Continually strive to improve data integrity and information reporting throughout the dealership.

Stay abreast of tax code revisions, secretary of state regulations and advise dealer regarding any operational adjustments needed to accommodate revisions.

Follow EOS guidelines, perform all 555s with employees and lead L10s with an administrative team.

Attend Team Leadership meetings, training sessions and Supervisory meetings when asked.

Develops, maintains, and enforces all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Prepares timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, filings and tax reviews/audits

Performs other duties assigned to ensure operational success
