This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their skills and experience in accounting and finance within the commercial property industry.

The successful candidate will be a key player in our financial reporting and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including CAM reconciliations and general ledger (GL) management.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial property accounting including, but not limited to, CAM reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.

Review and approve tenant billings and adjustments.

Conduct regular financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps or variances in the financial data.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls.

Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data.

Assist with annual budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.

A CPA or other relevant certification is highly desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial property accounting.

Proven experience with CAM reconciliations, GL, commercial, and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.

Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial personnel.
