mselect is looking to hire an Asset Handling Officer (Inspection and Storage) for a consultancy client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have 2-4 years in asset handling, warehousing, or logistics, experience with inspection and storage processes is preferred. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management and Maintenance:

Update asset condition, inspection outcomes, storage location details, and other pertinent physical handling information within the system

Ensure accurate reflection of asset movements, inspections, and logistics information in the inventory records

Client’s Portal Management and Operation:

Use the client’s Portal to document and track inspection processes, asset condition updates, and physical storage location changes

Interface with the client’s Portal during physical inventory audits and inspections, maintaining real-time updates to asset statuses

Requirements

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience:

2-4 years in asset handling, warehousing, or logistics, experience with inspection and storage processes is preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of inspection protocols and storage procedures

Familiarity with inventory and asset tracking systems

Basic understanding of safety standards and handling guidelines

Good organizational and record-keeping abilities

Physical ability to handle and inspect various asset types
