Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse operations:

Manage, motivate, and train warehouse staff

Ensure the efficient and timely processing of orders

Maintain inventory accuracy and control

Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization

Implement and enforce safety protocols

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

Inventory Management:

Supervise receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations

Implement and maintain an effective inventory control system

Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts

Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize stock levels

Work with Customer Service to cycle old inventory for sales

Logistics and Shipping:

Coordinate with the Shipping Manager for outbound shipments

Coordination of staging inventory for orders to the Sales Order

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods

Warehouse Maintenance and Improvement:

Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse

Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff

Set performance goals and provide regular feedback

Foster a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role

Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices

Proficient in inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Forklift certification is a plus
