We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Security Guard. This position is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ property through visible presence, proactive enforcement of security protocols, and the appropriate use of firearms, if applicable. You will be entrusted with a significant responsibility, and we are looking for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional professionalism, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

To excel in this role, a security officer must remain highly alert and maintain a professional demeanor. It is important to be able to maintain a calm disposition during intense situations, be able to make appropriate decisions, and communicate with skills reflecting strong verbal de-escalation and customer service.

Scheduling:

Hours vary depending on site (Openings on all shifts)

Weekend shifts available

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities change dependent upon site/venue

Uphold and maintain all site procedures and standards

Remain vigilant to maintain site safety

Swiftly address any violations/trespassing

Utilize excellent customer service skills

Communicate rules effectively as needed

Communicate with police and other staff members appropriately

Candidate Requirements:

Prior security experience is preferred

Flexible availability

Must be 18 years of age

Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Background checks are required (Felonies and certain misdemeanors disqualify)

Drug screen required

Ability to maintain focus and strong attention to detail

Must be able to sit/stand or walk for extended periods of time

Must maintain professional appearance and uphold company standards of behavior

Reliable transportation is necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift

12 hour shift

8 hour shift

Day shift

Evening shift

Night shift
