We’re looking for a founding engineer to join our seed stage startup (we're funded!), and go boots on the ground.

We're re-inventing healthcare workforce management. Sounds boring, right? WRONG-O. Medication errors happen everyday, 2.1M+ patients are impacted annually from a med errors, healthcare providers are burning out like crazy, and now your grandma isn't getting access to the healthcare she needs and deserves. But you can change that. ShiftRx is built for healthcare providers by people who are healthcare providers. The founding team has worked in nursing, pharmacy, operations, tech, and knows their stuff. We're going to take some bragging rights and say we have a culture like no other. If you're ready to skip being a D3 athlete and go straight to being an olympian, this is the place to be.

Our dream candidate looks like:

has experience in developing production AI applications, utilizing prompt-engineering, RAG, and writing evaluations

strong desire to be an early-hire at a fast-growing startup, and work IRL

experience writing python, typescript, terraform

familiarity with managing and scaling infrastructure

very strong critical thinking skills, ability to figure anything out

someone who’s proactive, has a passion to execute autonomously, and takes pride in their code

continuous learner, stays up to date on AI trends, and has had a multitude of side projects

you're excited about building something that’s going to make a considerable difference in how we receive healthcare in the U.S. Everyone, at every point, has been frustrated with a doctors visit or picking up a prescription, and we’re looking to dramatically improve the lives of healthcare providers and reduce their burnout rates so patient-care can remain the #1 focus

Base salary $125-150K

Equity .5%-1%
