Job Description

Title: Plant Engineering Manager

Location: Ada, OK

Pay: $120k - $135k

Type: Direct hire

Industry: Manufacturing - packaging/containers

Responsibilities

Manage engineering services for machinery, equipment, and facilities

Develop and implement maintenance plans

Investigate root causes of failures and calculate associated costs

Lead training for maintenance technicians

Set maintenance priorities and schedules

Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Evaluate, install, and test new equipment

Direct teams to solve problems and adjust plans

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred

Seven (7) years of engineering, facilities and/or machinery maintenance and reliability experience

Experience in paper converting, chemical or plastics processing, or packaging industries

Understanding of reliability tools and strategies

Knowledge of production processes and quality control

Experience managing multi-shift or continuous operations

Lean manufacturing experience
