Entry-Level Surveyor (Field)

Job Description

Entellus, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Surveyor to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The individual filling this position will receive real-world experience by working side-by-side with our project managers, surveyors, and technicians on a variety of projects. This is a full-time position with benefits. The position also has opportunities for advancement for a motivated individual willing to grow with the changing skills and technology required in the land surveying profession.

Key Responsibilities

Work in the field with survey crews on topographic, boundary, and construction staking tasks

Operate and maintain survey equipment and safety standards

Document all phases of survey work through clear field notes and data collection

Any other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

Physical ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and terrains including Phoenix summer heat

Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces

Willingness to work overtime

Problem solving and good decision-making skills

Have excellent communication, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and be a team player

Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license

Previous experience with surveying, math, AutoCAD, Trimble, or Microsoft Office products a plus.
