Meats By Linz, Inc. is seeking to add additional talent to the Logistics team in the Chicagoland area!
Job Description:
Full-time Drivers work eight or more hours per day delivering proteins to a variety of Meats By Linz customers 5 days a week. Workdays may vary depending on business and consumer needs. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh anywhere from 25 - 50 lbs. and may weigh up to 100 lbs. The position requires outstanding customer service skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain clear and constant communication with management throughout one's shift to report updates, incidents, clarifications, or any other information that needs to be shared.
Obey local and state traffic laws and follow the Company's transportation procedures.
Ensure packages are delivered on time and accurately.
Follow assigned routes for deliveries.
Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure that they are in proper working condition.
Provide exceptional customer service skills while delivering on routes.

Qualifications
Job Requirements and Skills
Class B or C Driver License
GED or High School Diploma
Must be able to obtain new DOT Med-Card for 2 years
Clean Driving Record
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to pass pre-employment testing
Ability to sit and drive for up to 10 hours, and climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift
Must be capable of carrying, lifting, and stocking a variety of products including boxes that are approximately 50 lbs. to 100 lbs.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent customer service skills
Familiarity with routes surrounding the Chicagoland area and suburbs and Northwest Indiana
