Here are some responsibilities for the potential Painter:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer where necessary.
Apply paint, stain, & other finishes to a wide range of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trims.
Ensure accurate color matching and consistent application to maintain a uniform and high-quality appearance throughout the community.
Identify and address surface defects, cracks, or damage before painting, and perform minor repairs when needed.
Manage and maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets our quality standards and the community’s aesthetic requirements.
Collaborate with property manager and maintenance teams to coordinate painting projects and prioritize work orders.
Maintain accurate records of paint usage, color specifications, and maintenance tasks for reporting purposes.

As the ideal candidate, your background includes:

Completion of high school/GED or specialized vocational training preferred
2+ years of Painter experience or related experience is preferred.
Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
Ability to maintain a friendly, professional attitude with prospects and residents.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot equipment.
Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
Organized and detail-oriented with a strong level of accuracy and the ability to multitask.
Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines while following all safety requirements.
High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential resident information.
Ability to work overtime, as well as a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Must have a valid Driver's License, current automobile insurance and reliable transportation. .
