Caterpillars Earth Moving Division is seeking multiple Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt in Brooklyn Park, MN. In this role, the selected candidates will Lead, manage, and support projects related to process and product improvements using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
Leading cross-functional teams to execute projects that drive improvement in product quality using the Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process rigor.
Analyzing data and applying problem solving methodologies to define solutions to issues that are moderately complex to complex in nature.
Leading and managing Six Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements. Portfolios may include a broad variety of projects targeted not only a quality improvements, but also at cost reduction, assurance of supply resolution, regulatory compliance, and other general projects related to support of current production machines.
Providing technical training and guidance for Green Belt professionals on the planning, development and implementation of Six Sigma projects.
Employing Six Sigma methodology into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
Top Candidates Will Also
Have a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business, or an equivalent level of work experience related to the job responsibilities.
Have prior training in use of Six Sigma methodology and tools. Prior Black Belt and/or Green Belt training is preferred.
Have project management skills, team leadership skills, and good communication skills.
Have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations.
Have the ability to learn, do statistical analysis, and have basic computer skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Office Package

Six Sigma Methodology: Knowledge of the concepts of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the manufacturing processes and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.
Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
