Responsibilities:

The Revenue Cycle Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power-BI reports and dashboards to support the RCM team.

Essential Functions:

Gathering Business Requirements and collaborate with business to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Analyzing financial and operational data.

Delivering attainable insights to improve revenue integrity, billing accuracy, and reimbursement efficiency.

The analyst will work closely with cross functional teams, including Finance, Enrollment, AR and Data Solutions/ECA to ensure data driven decision making and process optimization.

Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support revenue cycle operations.

Analyze data related to enrollment, billing, A/R and revenue reconciliation to identify trends, gaps and opportunities.

Work with stakeholders in Finance, IT and Ops to understand reporting needs and translate into effective BI solutions.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating sources, troubleshooting discrepancies, and refining reporting methodologies.

Optimize and enhance report automation, data extraction and transformation processes to improve efficiency.

Develop SOP, procedures for Power BI for governance and identify process improvements.

Perform data cleansing and transformation using Power Query and DAX.

Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill team members in Power BI usage and best practices.

Integrate data from data lakes into Power BI, ensuring seamless access and utilization of large datasets.

Provide ongoing support and mentorship to team members, helping them troubleshoot and optimize their Power BI solutions.

Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve our BI capabilities.

Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall data strategy of the organization.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3 or more years of proven experience as a Power BI Analyst or similar role.

Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
