The Position
As the Quality Partner within our Business Development & Support department, you will play a critical role in managing quality processes across strategic sourcing activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Serving as the primary liaison for tactical and strategic quality issues, ensuring alignment across departments.
Leading project management efforts for sourcing quality initiatives and fostering consensus in cross-functional settings.
Ensuring audit readiness and managing participation in inspections and audits to maintain compliance.
Overseeing deviation and change control processes to support continuous quality improvement.
Keep the sourcing process (instructions and documentation) updated to ensure compliance.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will maintain industry knowledge to guide the update of standard operating procedures, support process landscape development, and collaborate with management to achieve long-term compliance objectives.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is/has:
A Master's or equivalent degree in pharmacy, biology, chemistry, engineering or a similar field.
At least 4 years of experience working in Quality in a manufacturing industry environment. Experience from the Pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries desirable.
Detail-oriented, process focused and with very good communication skills. The communication skills and an ability to work independently, offering viable solutions and alternatives are important to succeed in this role.
Good understanding of supplier quality control. Expertise in quality assurance and supplier assessments on a global scale. Experience in writing instructions in a Quality Management System (QMS) environment.
Proven ability to influence cross-organisational teams towards achieving strategic goals and implementing new objectives.
About the Department
Strategic Sourcing, Inbound Materials & Services (SSIMS) is one of the central sourcing units in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, responsible for medium- and long-term strategic sourcing activities, which involves global identification and strategic management of suppliers for Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production sites. We also work with our sister unit, Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices (GSOD).
You will be part of Business Development & Support (BDS) CoE, where we drive cross-unit assessment and projects, represent the unit in different fora outside our area and contribute with value-adding sparring to the category management and sourcing departments in SSIMS/GSOD. The disciplines that we represent and tailor for include sourcing/scenario analytics, financial advisory, digitalisation, risk management, quality-related processes and business intelligence. The quality team within BDS consists of 3 colleagues with significant experience within the field.
It is a thorough, yet fast-paced and ambitious environment, where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside the sourcing units.
