About the Position

Reporting directly to SVP, Underwriter. The Senior Analyst role is based in the Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst oversees administration of submission/deal workflow, produces information to assist Underwriters with decision making and monitors deal level activity to ensure adequate servicing of the business.

You will:

Have comprehensive knowledge of the (re)insurance market, preferably in property class of business

Have knowledge of the reinsurance underwriting process, including an understanding of (re)insurance structures and contractual terms and conditions of (re)insurance

Correspond management of submissions, data requests, quotes, authorizations and contract wordings

Compile statistical data relating to treaty experience

Develop relationships with brokers and clients through regular interactions and meetings, understand their motivations and the negotiation process

Communicate at all levels of the organization and externally

Candidate Qualifications:

You will have:

A College or university degree

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in reinsurance industry

Strong computer skills required with advanced knowledge of excel preferred

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

An ability to express a point-of-view and receive feedback from others

The ability to operate in a fast-paced underwriting environment where you will need to multi-task and ensure timeliness and accuracy in your work

Demonstrate sensitivity and respect cultural differences

Travel required
