JOB DESCRIPTION
The Big Ten Network is looking for a Manager, Graphics Integration & Technology to join their team in Chicago, IL. The graphics integration and technology department is responsible for the successful implementation of all graphics and animations across all media platforms. The department will work closely with the creative services division to ensure that all elements for VizRT software is prepped for live events. This includes Artist scenes, Trio templates, and Template Wizard insert and monitor layouts for air according to network standards. They will also work to ensure the timely production of headshots, match-up elements, interstitials, and graphics style guides for all studio and remote events.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with the Senior Director of Graphics Integration & Technology on ensuring that all viz operating systems are working properly for remote/studio productions
Work with the Senior Director of Graphics Integration & Technology on creating an efficient rendering plan for all graphics-related projects
Work directly with the remote operations team to ensure graphics shells and guides, updated viz designs are prepared, leading into every sports season
Work with the remote operations team to communicate with on-site operators to ensure any remote viz graphics are properly formatted before delivery to the production truck
Work with all current statistical integrations with all sports disks
Work synergistically with inter-company departments (NE&O, engineering, software development)
Maintain lines of communication with the FOX Box team in Los Angeles and the TV graphics group related to score bug design adjustments/tech workflow
Partner with the engineering group to ensure graphic systems are updated with proper software and graphic elements
Act as liaison between remote broadcast technical crews and the graphics department with matters concerning insert graphic technology
Manage production of headshots, match-up caps, interstitials, and graphics style guides for all studio and remote events
Collaborate with Coordinating Producers, Producers, and Associate Producers to maintain department quality control standards
Responsible for the build-out of scenes within VizRT Artist graphics templates, templates in VizRT Template Wizard, and trioshows within VizRT Trio, and the proper testing of those elements before they are turned over to the production teams
Provide advanced technical support for all Vizrt/Unreal and any new real-time renderer systems throughout FSMG; this support may require travel to remote events and studios
Other duties, as needed by the department
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
6+ years of graphic production experience with VizRT collection of applications – Artist, Template Wizard, Trio
Experience in live action, 2D and 3D animation, post-production, and evolving media
Knowledge of how live sports in presented within live event/studio programming
Self-motivated and proactive
Strong interpersonal relationship skills, work organization, professionalism, initiative, and flexibility
Outstanding time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks, projects, and situations at one time
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
Working knowledge of various insert platforms – VizRT, Macintosh, Windows, Xpression
Proficiency in digital file formats, codecs, and wrappers, and their appropriate applications
Flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends throughout the production season as scheduled

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $102,000.00-115,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
