JOB TITLE: Wire Bonder - DEFENSE

LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA

PAY RATE: Up to $28/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform microelectronic assembly using manual and automatic wire/ribbon bonding machines.

Operate microscopes, measurement tools, and electronic test equipment.

Read and follow assembly work instructions and documentation.

Handle small components requiring magnification throughout shift.

Use hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).

Enter production data accurately and collaborate on process improvements.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Candidates will be required to initiate the interim clearance process upon offer.

Experience with gold ball and ribbon bonding (manual/automatic).

Comfortable working with bonding equipment and digital systems.

Detail-oriented with the ability to follow precise instructions.

Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.

Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
