This Position is Weekends only: Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday.
The Contract Security Officer Supervisor position requires the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals, including members of the general public, Department of Defense personnel, and all ranks of military, civilians, and visitors.
The duties and responsibilities are as followed, but not limited to:
Security of building(s)
Identification of all visitors and guests
Protection of physical assets
Anti-terrorism and force protection
Maintaining logs via written or electronic
Maintaining and carrying a firearm
Adhere and uphold SOP Standards.
This position is under the direct supervision of the site Captain.
Candidate Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must Be 21 years of age
Must be high school/GED graduate
Three to five years supervisor experience
Must posses a clearance issued by U.S. Department of Defense
Must have one of the following:
Three years security experience OR
Three years of military service (active duty or reserve) with and honorable discharge OR
An Associates Degree or at least 60 semester hours of college coursework in any field of study OR
Successful completion of Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course.
Maryland Guard Card and Wear and Carry License Required!
Armed DCJS License preferred

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
The applicant is required to submit to pre-employment medical exam and drug screening.
The applicant must be able to pass an NCIC / State / Local Background check and Credit check.
The applicant must be able to attend and complete all required training prior to assignment.
The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Physical Agility Test.
The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Firearms Qualification.
