Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Technical Recruiter Assistant to support our technical recruiting team in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top IT talent. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of technical roles and recruitment workflows and will help ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
What will you do:
Assist technical recruiters with sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and other platforms.
Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and interview feedback.
Pre-screen resumes for technical roles and provide initial assessments based on predefined criteria.
Communicate professionally with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Help draft and post job descriptions on relevant job portals.
Conducted reference checks and supported background verification processes.
Prepare recruiting reports and analytics as requested.
Stay updated on trends in IT hiring and recruitment best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in recruitment support or coordination, preferably in a technical hiring environment.
Familiarity with IT roles and technologies (e.g., IT Support, System Administration, Project Manager, etc.).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficiency in using ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workable, etc.).
Comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a technical recruiting team or staffing agency.
Knowledge of Boolean search techniques.Familiarity with or ability to evaluate candidates for:
CompA (infrastructure management platforms or equivalents)
Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)
BlueCat (DNS/DHCP/IPAM systems)
