Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Administration Specialist to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This position provides comprehensive program administrative and acquisition support services aimed at enhancing the delivery, oversight, and sustainment of critical IT solutions supporting U.S. Forces. This role is offered only in conjunction with IT Professional labor categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the development and maintenance of management plans and program-related reports.
Coordinate task schedules to ensure timely completion of task orders, change proposals, contract deliverables, and reviews.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and briefings including In Progress Reviews (IPRs).
Conduct analysis and assist in the development of program administrative plans, processes, and operational procedures.
Support program and executive management through accurate data collection, reporting, and recommendation of process improvements.
Provide direction and oversight to other administrative personnel as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop acquisition strategies, business case analyses, and capability development documents.
Assist in contract administration and monitor compliance with contract terms.
Participate in site assessments, milestone reviews, and development of communication plans to support business transformation efforts.
Qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in program administration, preferably within the federal government or DoD contracting environment.
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience with project management tools and reporting systems.
In-depth understanding of government contracting, including work breakdown structures (WBS), program reporting, and business plan development.
Experience supporting a Program Manager in a government contract environment.
Strong skills in contract administration and management reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with DLA and DoD acquisition lifecycle processes.
Knowledge of defense logistics systems and processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities.
