Job Description

3rd Shift Electro Mechanic.

$35-40/hr based on experience.

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electro-Mechanic to support production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within our food and beverage manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely while meeting all food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Troubleshoot and repair issues with conveyors, packaging machines, mixers, pumps, motors, control panels, sensors, and PLCs.

Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Install, modify, or upgrade equipment as needed.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage.

Ensure compliance with all safety and food safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, GMP, HACCP).

Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently.

Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Company Description
