Position Summary

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Indiana University invites applicants for a post doctoral research position under the supervision of Dr. David Lilien. The successful candidate will use ice-flow modeling and ice-penetrating radar to investigate the dynamics of the ice sheets. The candidate will have the flexibility to help determine the project’s objectives, methods, and geographical focus. A PhD in Earth Science, Geology, Geophysics, or a related discipline is required by the time of appointment. The ideal candidate will bring skills in both ice-flow modeling and ice-penetrating radar; candidates with experience in one of these two areas are also encouraged to apply.
