Terminal Manager (LTL Freight)

We are searching for an energetic and upbeat individual to join our team as a Terminal Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day terminal operations for one or more locations

• Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained, and labor costs are within budget

• Manage controllable costs to meet company goals

• Promote a safe working environment for all employees

• Report on P&L variances monthly

• Provide leadership and coaching by offering direction, support, training, and accountability to all terminal members

• Work closely with Account Managers as new business comes on board

• Support the organization’s goals and objectives

• Travel as required

• Other duties as assigned

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in LTL operations in a supervisor or management role required

• Skilled at leading effective teams

• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and LTL AS/400

• Ability to organize multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining effective organizational skills

• H.S. Diploma or GED/equivalent required; College Degree preferred

• Basic English language proficiency (reading, writing, and verbal) required
