Houseman/Driver/Butler - West Village, NYC

A busy and kind family of four is seeking a fantastic houseman/driver/butler to assist them at their home in the West Village. The schedule for this role will generally be Monday through Friday, full-time hours, but flexible and open to discussion. The family will be moving to the new home in September, so the start-date for this role is September 1 at the latest, but the family is happy to have the right candidate start immediately if desired. This position is very much a jack-of-all-trades role- there is some management involved, driving for the family as needed, light maintenance and repairs, and some service during events. The family is also seeking a housekeeper for the home and is open to a couple or two separate people.

Responsibilities

Monitoring the home for necessary repairs and upkeep- performing light maintenance

Hiring and supervising vendors

Driving the family as needed

Providing service during events

Work with existing staff to keep the home in running order

Qualifications

Team player- the family has a solid existing staff structure

Self-starter who takes initiative

Discreet and polished

Safe and confident driver in the city

"No job is too big or too small" attitude

Requirements

Driver's license and clean driving record

US work authorization

Salary and Benefits

$40-50/hr.
