Machine Operator

Job Description

Minutemen Staffing is currently Looking for Machine Operators who have Experience with CNC, Metal Sheet, Blueprint, Stamping, and Welding Experience. This is Located in the Dublin Area, Monday-Friday 8am-430pm. Pay ranges based on Experience. If you are Looking for a Long Career, This is the best Place.

* Inspect, measure, or test completed metal workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices.

* Read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications.

* Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components.

* Prepare metal surfaces or workpieces, using hand-operated equipment, such as grinders, cutters, or drills.

* Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into computers to adjust and start welding machines.

* Start, monitor, and adjust robotic welding production lines.

* Observe gauges to ensure that machines are operating properly, making adjustments or stopping machines when problems occur.

* Cut metal or other materials, using shears or band saws.

* Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.

* Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.

Set up and operate CNC machines like lathes, mills, and grinders

Write and test programs

Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts

Adjust the machine to control the speed, material feed, and the path of the cut

Track a product through each phase of its creation

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
