Essential Functions
Collaborate with our engineering team on Electrical/Controls design for new and existing products.
Program PLCs for OEM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and execute test methods for both software and hardware systems.
Prepare control load calculations, select equipment, and design control panels.
Assist production teams by providing training and production drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
Manage comprehensive documentation, including CAD packages, system manuals, and sequence of operations.
Provide technical support for various departments, including marketing, project management, and sales.
Continuously drive product improvement and initiate cost-reduction efforts.
Contribute to a work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
Strong knowledge of UL Standards and PLC programming (ladder logic, function block).
Expertise in control panel design and load calculations.
Experience in preparing technical reports and updates for project managers.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of UL-508a Standard.
Experience with PLCs such as:
Rockwell
Siemens
Unitronics
Wago
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field with at least 3+ years of experience. Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant experience.
