Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assessing patients' conditions and determining the appropriate course of action
Administering basic life support measures, including CPR and first aid
Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
Assisting with the transportation of patients to medical facilities
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care - Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
National certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Colorado State EMS License
Current BLS
Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
Experience administering injections and performing physical examinations
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
