Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Provide design services to multiple concurrent projects and provide direct professional support to clients.
Preparation of drawings and specifications for medium voltage distribution power systems.
Support other senior engineers in the design of distribution and transmission power.
Comply with all authorities and utilities requirements and NEC codes.
Perform field inspections, measurements and calculations.
Review and estimate construction budgets.
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and attend construction meetings.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license or Professional Engineer (PE) license
5 years of experience minimum
Experience in design of medium voltage distribution power systems including aerial and underground lines.
Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
AutoDesk REVIT preferred.
Experience on major infrastructure and building projects preferred.
Knowledge of telecommunications systems preferred.
Excellent ability to communicate with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, technicians, office, and field personnel.Company Description
