As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you’ll possess the knowledge to process payroll and support tax and stock transactions. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert to external teams and support and mentor payroll team members.

About the Role

Final auditor for payroll processing

Settle payrolls when completed

Assist with Workday releases and team education regarding release

Back up for payroll data entry, data imports, computing and balancing payroll, auditing, posting and generating accounting data distribution, reconciliations and reporting

Back up/Assist with process and input for other earnings required for payroll, such as bonuses, commissions, vacation payouts and fringe benefit imputed income

Partner with payroll administrators to resolve issues and escalated concerns

Assist with W-2 processing at year end

Lead payroll initiative meetings as they arise when needed

Perform final review of data related to one-time payments, retros, salary, etc. and coordinate with other internal teams for corrections and changes for final calculation of payroll

Identify and assist in implementation of appropriate business process efficiencies in relation to payroll processing, drives our business forward

Provide leadership for the payroll business area, cross training of payroll staff and providing support to the payroll leader/director

Keep abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage, tax laws and correspond with Federal, State, Local Tax Agencies to advise leaders and team members

Assist tax team with quarterly and annual tax filings

Understanding of overall equity programs including TMSPP purchases, RSU vesting’s, and stock option exercises

Attend meetings regarding changes from business partners and serve as SME to represent the payroll processing team by finding solutions and identifying concerns

About You

Minimum Qualifications

8 years of Payroll Administration experience

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

Expert with HRIS platforms, specifically Workday

Strong communication, organization and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of labor laws and taxation

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

Fundamental Payroll Certified (FPC)
