Assistant Controller

Our client, a reputable non-profit organization, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their finance team. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with management experience who are seeking career advancement opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred but not required).

7+ years of relevant experience, including team management.

Strong technical accounting skills, including month-end close and audit preparation.

ERP system proficiency preferred (e.g., Sage Intacct).

Non-profit or grant management experience is a plus.Responsibilities:

Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

Manage financial reporting and support audits.

Oversee month-end and year-end closings.

Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
