Mobile Lab Tech

Overview: Our engineering client is seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Lab Technician to join their team in the Anoka/Minneapolis area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for traveling to various sites to collect and analyze samples for asbestos, mold, and lead. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in environmental testing, strong knowledge of industry regulations, and excellent communication skills.

This is a direct hire position.

What you will be doing as a Mobile Lab Tech…

Travel to client sites to collect samples for asbestos, mold, and lead testing.

Follow established protocols and use proper equipment for sample collection.

Conduct on-site testing using approved laboratory methods and tools.

Assess buildings and structures to identify potential environmental hazards.

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, test results, and recommendations.

Communicate results and next steps clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Mobile Lab Tech…

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred.

Certifications in asbestos, mold, and lead testing strongly preferred.

Proven experience in field or laboratory testing for environmental hazards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Willingness to travel regularly within the region and work flexible hours as needed.
