Arhaus is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Interface Error Specialist to join our Inventory Management team. This role is vital in maintaining inventory data accuracy across systems by ensuring seamless communication between our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. As a central figure in troubleshooting, monitoring, and resolving system interface issues, the Interface Error Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Distribution Center Operations, and Inventory Control, to enhance process reliability and system performance.
The ideal candidate is proactive, systems-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will be instrumental in strengthening inventory integrity and supporting Arhaus’ mission to build the most efficient and become the greatest logistics team in retail.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor and resolve interface errors and transaction failures between WMS and ERP systems, ensuring timely and accurate inventory data synchronization (e.g., receipts, transfers, shipments, and adjustments).
Conduct root cause analysis for interface discrepancies and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to resolve and prevent recurring system integration issues.
Execute regular (daily, weekly, monthly) reconciliations of WMS and ERP inventory data; identify variances and lead corrective actions with appropriate business units.
Interpret and analyze large datasets from multiple reporting platforms; use Excel and other data tools to surface trends and inform decision-making.
Maintain a working knowledge of the systematic logic and configuration that governs Arhaus’ logistics systems, with a focus on optimizing cross-platform data flow and user efficiency.
Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system interface monitoring and issue resolution protocols.
Ensure all system processes align with company policies, operational standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks, including SOX requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert for interface error resolution and provide training and guidance to other associates as needed.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and collaboration within the logistics and IT ecosystem.
Competencies, Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, system integrations, or logistics operations involving WMS/ERP platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with reporting tools and data analysis required.
Familiarity with system architecture, integration flows, and inventory management best practices.
Proven analytical, research, and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple system tickets concurrently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively across departments and influence positive change.
Demonstrated ability to adapt in dynamic environments and manage ambiguity with a detail-driven mindset.
Experience in compliance-driven environments (e.g., SOX) strongly preferred.
A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and willingness to embrace process ownership and leadership responsibilities.
