Wellabe is seeking a hybrid Financial Systems Analyst to be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and maintaining financial systems within an organization. They ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, develop reports and dashboards, and provide technical support to users. This role involves collaborating with various departments to enhance system efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Someone in this role will:
Evaluate and analyze current financial systems to identify areas for improvement.
Support the implementation of new systems, products, or processes by testing financial data flows from administrative systems to ensure accurate accounting treatment in the general ledger.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the systems.
Develop, update, and maintain reports derived from the general ledger to support financial analysis and reporting.
Provide technical support and training to users of financial systems.
Ensure that financial systems are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Collaboration with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial systems.
Research and resolve issues with daily integration of data into the general ledger.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining financial systems and related data feeds to ensure ongoing accuracy and functionality.
Contribute to the monthly close process and respond to audit requests by providing accurate and timely financial information.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent relative experience. Combination of education and/or experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Previous internship or experience in financial analysis, systems analysis, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, SQL, Excel).
Ability to collaborate and work productively with teams and across departments
