RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities of our Healthcare Art Director include, but are not limited to:

Design and Creative Development:

Using Adobe Creative Suite, produce attractive and effective designs for a full spectrum of company collateral and media

Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media, including infographics

Develop marketing campaigns that translate marketing objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies

Execute the design development of strategic messages and deliverables

Project Management:

Work simultaneously on 3+ projects based on current client workload

Manage project workflow to meet deadlines and remain productive in a fast-paced environment through the use of required project management software

Properly catalog, tag, and organize photo, video, and project files as required by the established Xavier process

Obtain internal approvals for deliverables

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Collaborate with other directors, designers, copywriters, medical editors, digital experts, and production departments

Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives

Consult with project management, copywriting, and strategy teams to create cohesive designs that reflect our client's corporate cultures and goals

Quality Assurance:

Ensure design deliverables effectively address marketing goals and challenges

Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences

Assist the Creative Services with other design and production tasks and projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

3+ years pharma, life sciences, healthcare experience

5+ years of graphic design-related experience

Strong skills across the breadth of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop. Microsoft products, Figma, and Sketch

Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities

Ability to work collaboratively and well with others as part of a cross-functional team

Demonstrate management savvy on project goals and with vendor partners

Ability to work independently with limited management oversight

Understanding of integrated design across all marketing channels, including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print

Ability to participate in concept development, photoshoots, and video concepts

Create fresh, bold designs that support business objectives

Preferred:

Degree in Design and/or Marketing or equivalent

Empathy and curiosity about professions and activities new to you
