About the Role:

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Brand Insights Consultant to support our Customer Insights team on a full-time, six-month contract. In this role, you’ll lead high-impact research initiatives including brand tracking, segmentation, campaign measurement, thought leadership, and claims validation - helping drive a deeper understanding of our brand, customers, and the evolving healthcare landscape.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Brand, Marketing, Comms, Growth, Analytics, Creative, and Clinical Research, acting as a strategic thought partner to bring the voice of the customer to the forefront of key brand and business decisions.

About You:

You’re a seasoned brand researcher who thrives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and data. You’ve led complex research programs end-to-end, can confidently advise senior stakeholders, and know how to translate insights into actions that drive brand growth. You’re comfortable with both DIY and vendor-led approaches, and you bring a strong understanding of the media, advertising, and healthcare landscapes. You know when to dig deep and when to zoom out, and you have a passion for using research to shape brand narratives, measure impact, and influence go-to-market strategy.

You Will:

Lead and manage two major segmentation studies in partnership with a market research vendor

Oversee campaign measurement tests to understand the effectiveness of strategic initiatives

Own the brand health tracking program, driving optimizations for surveys, as well as actionable reporting and strategic readouts

Measure brand marketing impact and identify opportunities to optimize media and creative

Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to align research with MMM and attribution

Lead thought leadership research to support brand storytelling and category authority

Conduct claims research to validate product messaging for use across paid and owned channels

Collaborate with Comms and PR to develop data points for use in media and press

Audit current research vendors, tools, and processes, and recommend improvements

Develop reporting frameworks that clearly connect brand metrics to business goals

Act as the primary insights point of contact for all brand-related research during the contract period

You Have:

10+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or brand strategy

Direct experience working with segmentations

Ideally a mix of brand-side and agency/in-house experience conducting segmentations and brand research

Deep expertise in brand tracking, segmentation, creative testing, and campaign measurement

Experience working with Marketing Mix Modeling and partnering with analytics teams

A proven ability to turn insights into clear, actionable strategies for cross-functional teams

Comfort navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities

Exceptional storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Familiarity with the healthcare, wellness, or DTC space
