About the Role

ICHRAs are positioned to transform how employers sponsor health insurance for tens of millions of people, as part of a broader shift in employee benefits from defined-benefits to defined-contribution. HealthSherpa is building infrastructure to facilitate the exchange of data between carriers and ICHRA platforms. As a temporary Carrier Relations Manager on our ICHRA team, you will help us gain commitments from carriers to share their ACA plan and rate data to populate our quoting API.

This is a TEMPORARY position with up to a 6 month term length. The pay for this role is $49-$74/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills and experience.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Vice President, ICHRA. It is US-based fully remote and requires no travel.

You Will

Identify and connect with the right ACA plan data contacts at FFM and SBM carriers

Educate those contacts on HealthSherpa (SBM), our ICHRA strategy, and reasons for sharing their data

Make the "ask" for ACA plan design and rate data in our preferred formats

Acquire current year plan data

Track our progress against carriers and states

You Have

5+ years of experience working with ACA plan data

Ability to form relationships and handle objections

Knowledge of ICHRA and the broader employee benefits ecosystem

The ability to simplify the complexities of ICHRA, and HealthSherpa's solution, to help carriers understand both

A drive to change the system
