About the Role:
Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our People Operations team. This role will be based out of our Ohio facility and support both our Ohio and New Jersey Facilities. As an HR Generalist on the People Ops team, you’ll use your eye for detail and enthusiasm for process improvement to provide Hims and Hers a world-class employee experience. You’ll also apply your systems savvy and analytical thinking to continually improve our People processes and devise ways to better utilize our core tools. Finally, you’ll provide employees the information they need to thrive, helping them navigate our people processes & programs, and supporting them throughout their employment at Hims and Hers. The individual in this role will also provide support to the whole organization as needed.
Location and shift:
This position is located in New Albany, OH. You must work onsite Monday-Friday.
The shift is 9:00am -5:00pm EST
You Will:
Partner with the Generalist and HRBP Team to drive a smooth process and manage all backend support functions.
Triage employee inquiries and direct them to the right resource or subject matter expert as necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries onsite and provide timely resolutions and guidance, handle basic employee relations issues and escalate to onsite HRBP as appropriate.
Partner with the on-site HRBP and remote HR Manager on special projects
Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related matters, such as company policies, benefits, and compliance.
Run regular and ad-hoc reports related to turnover, performance, employee demographics, and other key metrics for the business and provide analysis.
Partner with the Payroll team to ensure new hires, employee changes, and terminations are processed in a timely manner.
Oversee the onboarding process, including conducting New Hire Orientation, completing background checks, I-9 review, and E-Verify, while ensuring a positive and smooth new hire experience.
Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Oversee employee changes throughout the entire process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and required approvals are obtained at each stage.
Ensure the facilities are compliant with all labor and state laws and maintain the labor law posters for each facility.
Respond to employment-related mail inquiries & notifications within the timeframes provided per state.
Manage the offboarding process for respective client groups, including conducting exit interviews, handling termination paperwork, drafting separation agreements as needed, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Regularly review and update the organizational structure to reflect employee changes, new hires, and departmental reorganizations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Manage our employee training program onsite in partnership with key stakeholders.
You Have:
3+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources; ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability and patience, to audit and dive deep into data to determine patterns and check for inaccuracies
Demonstrated client-service orientation, with a clear, approachable, and friendly communication style and customer service approach
Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
Experience with Excel or Google Sheets in a professional environment
Experience with using data systems and tools; experience using HRIS systems
Strong analytical skills, proven ability to execute processes, and a flexible approach to problem-solving
