Description

We are seeking a proficient Software Engineer to build and maintain responsive web applications using ASP.NET Core for frontend development, with a focus on integrating with backend APIs. You will deliver high-quality, scalable solutions using modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive frontend applications using ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, and MVC.

• Integrate with backend gRPC services and RESTful APIs.

• Handling authentication (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect) and JSON serialization.

• Optimize client-side performance with efficient JavaScript, CSS, and bundling/minification.

• Write and maintain unit tests (e.g., NUnit, MSTest) to ensure robust functionality.

• Collaborate with backend teams to define API/service contracts and troubleshoot integration issues.

• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance using Git-based workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

0+ years of experience developing web applications with ASP.NET Core (MVC and Razor Pages).

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

Strong proficiency in C#, HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Experience in integrating with gRPC services and RESTful APIs, including error handling and retry mechanisms.

Expertise in integrating authentication and authorization services, including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect, for secure API and service interactions.

Experience writing unit tests with frameworks like NUnit or MSTest.

Proficiency with Git for source control, including branching, merging, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Node.js and npm for managing frontend dependencies and build scripts (e.g., Webpack, npm scripts).

Solid understanding of web security practices, including XSS prevention, CSRF protection, and secure API communication (HTTPS, CORS).

Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years of experience developing web applications with ASP.NET Core (MVC and Razor Pages).

Experience with cloud-based deployment and management of web applications (e.g., Azure, AWS)

Familiarity with basic integration testing for API interactions.

Experience in Docker for containerized service deployment and development.

Knowledge of SignalR for real-time web functionality.

Knowledge of Node.js and npm.
