Maintenance Laborer

QUINCY PARK DISTRICTMaintenance Laborer Full TimeQualifications: The Quincy Park District is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform manual labor requiring physical strength for extended periods.

Applicant must have the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions including safety practices regarding the use of equipment and materials.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, lifting (50 lb.

minimum), pulling, reaching, stooping, crouching, grasping, pushing, talking, hearing, and seeing.

Ability to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to tractors, end loaders, backhoe, sprayers, trucks, and large mowers.

Ability to observe and report safety hazards and pass the Pesticide Operators test.

Duties: Performs routine manual semi-skilled and unskilled labor and may require operation of various maintenance equipment.
