Summary

We are currently representing a multi-state commercial general contractor actively seeking a Project Administrator to support projects in the DSA (Division of the State Architect), Public Works, and Commercial construction sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrative professional with a background in construction to join a team working on complex, high-impact developments. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing documentation and communication across multiple project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to project managers and field teams across DSA, Public Works, and commercial construction jobs

Prepare, track, and manage documentation such as submittals, RFIs, change orders, contracts, and meeting minutes

Maintain project files and logs using software such as Procore and Microsoft Office

Support contract compliance by managing AIA documents and subcontractor paperwork

Assist with project startup, closeout packages, and document control for audits

Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate communication with clients and subcontractors

Ensure project documentation meets public agency and DSA standards

Maintain up-to-date records for certified payroll, insurance, and compliance documents Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of project administrative experience with a general contractor

Direct experience supporting DSA, Public Works, or commercial construction projects is preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree required

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and AIA documentation

Ability to work independently and handle multiple administrative priorities

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
