Kennel Technician - Cheyenne/WY

AMVC-Prairie Hills Animal Hospital

Full-time (does include some holidays and weekends)

Responsibilities:

Assist customers and communicate regularly in a professional, friendly manner

Schedule boarders, including intake and discharge

Alert medical staff of any medical concerns regarding boarders

Boarder enrichment

Administer medications

Care for animals, including feeding, watering, and cleaning of eliminations

Keep boarding facility clean and organized

Assist in marketing of boarding facility

Other duties, as needed assigned by management

Weekend animal care is required

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Positive attitude and friendly disposition

Organizational skills

Experience in animal handling and proper care of animals preferred

Previous experience in a boarding or kennel setting is preferred
