Job Posting: Assistant to Owner – Baked True North (Part-Time)
Location: North Pittsburgh Approx. 15–25 hrs/week Starting at $15/hr (based on experience)

The Role:
We're looking for a proactive, detail-loving Assistant to help support the owner in day-to-day operations. If you're the kind of person who enjoys wearing many hats, staying a few steps ahead, and keeping things organized behind the scenes, you might be just who we're looking for.
This role is ideal for someone who:
Thrives on bringing order to chaos
Loves checklists, calendars, and making systems work smoothly
Feels energized by supporting a mission-driven, small business team
Enjoys a mix of admin, people-facing, and creative tasks
Responsibilities may include:
Managing schedules and coordinating meetings
Helping organize special events, pop-ups, and vendor collaborations
Handling emails, follow-ups, and light correspondence
Willingness to say no and gatekeep the owner's time
Keeping track of tasks, project deadlines, and documents
Utilizing various AI tools for efficiency
Creating or maintaining systems (digital filing, inventory logs, etc.)
Supporting hiring and onboarding logistics
Assisting with marketing efforts (social content scheduling, basic Canva design, etc.)
Helping on-site occasionally during events or peak times
You might be a great fit if you:
Are a strong communicator (written + verbal)
Have solid organizational and time management skills
Are tech-comfortable (Google Drive, Gmail, Canva, social media tools, ChatGPT, Voxer, etc.)
Can adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Are excited about supporting a local business with heart
Bonus points if you have experience with:
Small business admin or operations
Marketing, branding, or customer communications
Gluten-free baking or food service (but not required!)
Hours & Flexibility:
We're looking for someone to start part-time (15–25 hours/week) with flexibility to grow. Some hours can be remote, but regular in-person work in North Pittsburgh will be required. We're willing to build the right role around the right person.
