Logistics Clerk 2nd Shift

Moran Transportation Corporation provides regional, less than truckload (LTL) services throughout the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri markets. Moran Transportation Corporation is seeking a talented person to work in a fast-paced transportation environment at our Elk Grove Village headquarters.

Shift(s) Available:

5:00PM-1:30AM (M-F)

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

Answer Phones

Manage emails

Create road manifests

Create strip manifest

Scan documents into the imaging system

Including but not limited to BOL, DR, Unloading Manifest

Update the operating system with any notes on communication

Accept loads / drops that are being brought into the terminal

Receive the driver delivery manifest and confirm all pods are received and signed properly.

Receive the driver pick up manifest and confirm all the proper back up documentation is received.

At the end of the drivers shift, make sure all the proper paperwork is turned in, keys, inspection report etc.

Question / Assist any person in the facility or on the property that are not Moran employees

Identify customer freight on our dock with no pro#

Enter completion bills

Send bill of lading to our billing department confirm receipt and answer follow up questions.
