Position Overview\n \n This position is a paid co-op for a college student currently working towards a degree in paper science or chemical engineering.

The co-op term would start May 2025 and end in December 2025.\n\nResponsibilities\n \n The types of projects the co-op can expect to be involved in include:\n\nProcess improvement, cost reduction, and optimization opportunities.\nChemical trials designed to increase quality and productivity.\nEquipment start-up and optimization.\nStatistical analysis of the finished product properties.\nInvolvement with customers regarding special trials or quality issues.\n\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n \n In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will receive mentorship and develop and apply chemical engineering skills and knowledge.

Candidates will also have an opportunity to participate in GBP's intern development program to network with other local GBP interns.
